Why We’re Blogging

We’re starting a blog. Not to sell you something. Not to gatekeep knowledge behind lead forms. Just to share what we’ve learned.

Why This Matters

The tech industry has a weird relationship with knowledge. Companies hoard their practices like trade secrets, consultants turn every insight into a billable engagement, and valuable information gets buried in closed forums or behind paywalls.

That’s backwards.

The problems we solve aren’t unique to our clients. When we figure out how to make zero trust architecture actually work in a hybrid environment, that’s useful to anyone dealing with the same challenge. When we find a better way to automate compliance reporting, other teams could benefit from knowing how we did it.

So why keep it to ourselves?

What You’ll Find Here

This blog isn’t marketing. It’s documentation of what we’re learning as we solve real infrastructure problems.

Systems Engineering

Deep dives into infrastructure design, automation, and optimization. How we approach specific challenges, what worked, what didn’t, and why. Real scenarios from actual engagements with details changed to protect client confidentiality.

Security

Best practices for zero trust architectures, security hardening, and compliance. Not just theory, but what actually works when you’re implementing it.

Cloud & Hybrid Solutions

Real world experiences with cloud migrations and hybrid infrastructure. The messy parts that vendor documentation doesn’t cover.

DevOps & Automation

Tools, techniques, and workflows that improve development velocity. Honest takes on what we use. Not vendor pitches. Not affiliate marketing. Just whether something actually solved the problem we needed it to solve.

Case Studies & Lessons Learned

Anonymized stories from client engagements and the mistakes we made along the way. Because the best way to learn is from someone else’s expensive lesson.

Who This Is For

Everyone. Seriously.

If you’re an engineer trying to solve a problem we’ve already tackled, this is for you. If you’re evaluating whether to hire a consultancy and want to understand how good ones operate, this is for you. If you’re just interested in infrastructure and security, this is for you.

You don’t need to be a client. You don’t need to become a client. You just need to find the content useful.

The Bigger Picture

We believe the tech community gets stronger when we share openly. When one team figures something out and documents it well, ten other teams don’t have to repeat the same trial and error.

That’s how open source works. That’s how good documentation works. That’s how communities advance together instead of everyone solving the same problems in isolation.

Contributing Back

The tech community has given us a lot. Open source tools we use every day. Blog posts that saved us hours of debugging. Documentation that taught us new approaches. Conference talks that changed how we think about problems.

This blog is our way of contributing back.

Moving Forward

We’ll be posting regularly. Not on a rigid schedule because that leads to filler content. We’ll write when we have something worth sharing.

If you want to follow along, subscribe to our RSS feed or check back at hexaxia.tech/blog. If you have questions about something we write, reach out. If you think we got something wrong, definitely reach out.

Here’s to building a community that learns together instead of hoarding knowledge behind closed doors.
